Steve Carr has a background in golf and travel writing and has experienced over 450 courses worldwide. He is a member of the panel that ranks the Top 100 Courses in the World for New York based Golf Magazine. And before setting up 1-up Course Guides he was Deputy Editor for both Golf World and Today’s Golfer, and for 10 years was the Chairman of the Top 100 Courses in the British Isles and Europe.

Bob Atkins is a genuine all-rounder but also one of golf’s finest photographers, having worked on staff for Golf World and Today’s Golfer before becoming freelance in 1998. He has been commissioned to photograph some of the greatest courses and resorts worldwide from Arizona to Zimbabwe, as well as doing shoots for leading travel, leisure and sports magazines such as Trail, GQ Active and Mountain Bike Rider.
